Collection instructions: Serum Separator Tube (SST).
Processing: All human serum samples are considered to be potentially infectious and are to be treated as such. Follow all precaution for handling biological material. Use all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection.
Storage: Refrigerated.
Stability: After separation of cells: Refrigerated: 1 week, Frozen: 1 month
